What to WearFor both men and women participating in whitewater rafting on the Sabie River, it's essential to wear appropriate clothing that offers comfort, protection, and mobility. Here are some recommendations for clothing for both genders: For Men: Swim Trunks or Quick-Drying Shorts: Opt for swim trunks or quick-drying shorts that are comfortable and won't restrict movement. Avoid wearing bulky or heavy materials that may become waterlogged. Moisture-Wicking Shirt: Choose a lightweight, moisture-wicking shirt that will keep you cool and dry throughout the rafting trip. Long-sleeved shirts offer added protection from the sun and abrasions. Water Shoes or Secure Sandals: Wear water shoes with straps to protect your feet and provide good traction on slippery surfaces. Avoid flip-flops or shoes that may quickly come off during the rafting trip. Hat or Cap: Bring a brimmed hat or cap to shield your face and eyes from the sun. Choose a hat with a chin strap to prevent it from blowing away in windy conditions. Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen with a high SPF to exposed skin, including your face, neck, arms, and legs. Reapply sunscreen regularly throughout the day, especially if you'll be on the water for an extended period. Sunglasses: Wear sunglasses with UV protection to shield your eyes from the sun's glare reflecting off the water. Consider using a strap to secure your sunglasses and prevent them from falling off during the rafting trip. Dry Clothes for After: Pack a change of dry clothes after the rafting trip. This includes underwear, socks, and a warm layer if the weather is cool. For Women: Swimsuit or Quick-Drying Shorts and Top: Opt for a swimsuit or quick-drying shorts and a top that offers freedom of movement and won't ride up or become uncomfortable during the rafting trip. Rash Guard or Moisture-Wicking Shirt: Choose a rash guard or moisture-wicking shirt with long sleeves for sun protection and abrasion resistance. Look for styles designed specifically for water sports and provide UPF protection. By wearing appropriate clothing for whitewater rafting, both men and women can ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience on the Sabie River while staying protected from the elements.

What to WearWhen preparing for a quad biking adventure, it's essential to wear clothing and gear that will keep you comfortable and protected throughout the experience. Here's a guide on what to wear for a quad-biking adventure: Closed-toe Shoes: Opt for sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good traction, such as hiking boots or sneakers. Avoid sandals or flip-flops, which don't provide adequate protection or support. Long Pants: Wear long pants, such as jeans or cargo pants, to protect your legs from branches, debris, and potential scrapes or scratches. Layers: Dress in layers, especially if you're quad biking in cooler weather or at higher altitudes. This allows you to adjust your clothing as temperatures fluctuate throughout the day. Moisture-wicking Clothing: Choose moisture-wicking clothing made from polyester or nylon, which will help keep you dry and comfortable by wicking away sweat. Comfortable Shirt: Opt for a relaxed, breathable shirt, such as a moisture-wicking T-shirt or a lightweight long-sleeve shirt for sun protection. Jacket or Windbreaker: Bring a lightweight jacket or windbreaker to provide an extra layer of warmth and protection against wind or light rain. Gloves: Consider wearing gloves to protect your hands and improve your grip on the handlebars, especially if you'll be riding for an extended period or in cooler weather. Helmet: If the tour operator does not provide helmets, it's essential to wear a properly fitting helmet that meets safety standards for ATV or motorcycle riding. Eye Protection: Wear sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes from dust, debris, and glare from the sun. Ensure they fit securely and won't quickly come off during the ride. Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen with a high SPF to exposed skin, including your face, neck, arms, and other areas not covered by clothing. Reapply as needed throughout the day, especially if you'll be in direct sunlight for an extended period. Hat or Buff: Consider wearing a hat with a brim or a buff to shield your face and neck from the sun and prevent sunburn. Backpack or Hydration Pack: Bring a small backpack or hydration pack to carry essentials such as water, snacks, sunscreen, and any personal items you may need during the ride. You can stay comfortable, safe, and protected by wearing appropriate clothing and gear while enjoying your quad biking adventure.
Things to BringWhen preparing for a quad biking adventure, clients should consider bringing the following items to ensure their comfort, safety, and enjoyment throughout the experience: Valid ID and Booking Confirmation: Bring a valid form of identification and any booking confirmation or voucher the tour operator provides. Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the adventure by bringing a refillable water bottle. Opt for a durable, leak-proof bottle you can easily carry during the ride. Snacks/Energy Bars: Pack lightweight, non-perishable snacks such as energy bars, trail mix, or fruit to keep you fueled during the ride. Sun Protection: Pack sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Also, bring sunglasses with UV protection and a brimmed hat or cap to shield your face and eyes from the sun. Personal Medications: If you take any medications regularly, bring an ample supply on the adventure. Pack them in a waterproof container or bag to protect them from moisture and damage. Camera/GoPro: Capture the exhilarating moments of your quad biking adventure by bringing a camera or GoPro. Ensure your device is securely fastened to prevent loss or damage during the ride. Small Backpack/Daypack: Carry essentials such as sunscreen, snacks, water, and personal items in a small backpack or daypack. Choose a lightweight and comfortable backpack with adjustable straps for ease of carrying. Change of Clothes: Pack a change of clothes and a lightweight jacket or windbreaker in case of changes in weather or temperature throughout the day. Closed-Toe Shoes: Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good traction for optimal safety and comfort during the ride. Avoid wearing open-toe shoes or sandals, as they offer less protection and stability. Personal Protective Gear: If you prefer protective gear, such as gloves or goggles, feel free to bring them along. Ensure that your gear is suitable for quad biking and meets safety standards. Cash/Tip Money: Bring cash for additional expenses, such as souvenirs or gratuities for your guides. While tipping is not mandatory, showing appreciation for exceptional service is customary.
